New Investment Platform for experienced Channel Island and Isle of Man investors

Santander International has launched a new investment platform, offering customers a solution for safe custody and trade execution across 25 markets for equities, fixed income and funds.

The execution-only service, operated in conjunction with Pershing (Channel Islands), is aimed at experienced individual or corporate investors who do not need to take advice and who understand the risks of investments.

David Elgie, Head of Digital Wealth, Santander International, said: “We believe there is a gap in the market for institutional grade custody and trade execution services, in conjunction with traditional banking, foreign exchange, investment backed lending and other credit services.  We will have direct client relationships and plan to work with intermediaries and third-party advisors.  Advisors will be able to trade on behalf of their clients.” 

Clients will have access to an online portal to view their investments while a new dedicated dealing team will be available to support the execution of trades.
