Enter the details of the person/business you want to pay. You need to add them exactly as they appear on the account you’re sending payment to.

Check 'Yes' if you want to save the payee details for future transactions.

Enter the payment amount and the reason for payment.

Select 'Immediately' for one-off immediate payment or select 'Standing Order' for a regular/repeat payment.

If you are setting up a Standing Order or regular payment, you will need to select the 'Frequency' of your payment, a 'Keep Paying Until' date OR check the 'Until Further Notice' option.

Tap 'Continue'.

You may get a warning message alerting you to the risk of fraud.

If you are confident and would like to continue making the payment, tap 'Continue with payment'.

We’ll show you the details of the payment you want to make again. If you’re happy and would like to proceed tick 'I'm comfortable with this payment' and tap 'Continue with payment'.

We’ll show you the details of the payment again.  If you are happy with the payment details tap 'Confirm'. You’ll also have the chance to change the details if you spot something’s not right.

You can authorise the payment with your Face ID or Touch ID if these are set up, or enter your 6 digit PIN.

Your payment has been sent and your new payee has been set up. This means that next time you want to pay that person you can just find them in your Payee list. If you’ve got another payment to make now you can just tap 'Make another payment'.

Payments over £10,000 will require authorisation from Santander International before the payment is made and the transaction is visible in your Recent Transactions.
