On 30 September 2019, our legal name changed from Abbey National Treasury Services plc to Santander Financial Services plc – this will not affect our trading name (also known as our brand name) Santander International, which remains the same. As a consequence of this change our regulatory footer which appears on all of our stationery, leaflets, forms, statements and website has been updated.
We have also updated our General Terms and Conditions accordingly and taken the opportunity to update and clarify the following clauses:
- Clause A1.20, following the introduction of the Isle of Man Dormant Assets Act 2019;
- Clause A4.11 in relation to our right of rectification if credits have been made to an account in error or where we believe a credit is a result of fraud or other criminal activity;
- Clauses A6.1 and A6.7 with regards negative interest rates; and
- Clause G1.12.1 to confirm options available on the decease of a single holder of a Fixed Deposit Contract.
