How to enter the prize draw

To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is use any Santander International Charge Card to pay for goods or services between now and the end of October, and you will be entered into a free prize draw. 

Don't have a Charge Card yet? No problem. If you sign up for a new card and use the card for a purchase before 31 October, you'll be entered.

What is a Charge Card?

A Charge Card is similar to a credit card as you can spend on it the same way as a credit card, but it has a monthly spending limit and requires that you pay the statement balance in full every month.

Prize draw terms and conditions

1. Entry is open to Santander International Charge Card customers who are 18 years or over and are resident in Jersey or the Isle of Man, excluding employees of Santander Financial Services plc.   

2. The Promoter is Santander Financial Services plc, 13 – 15 Charing Cross, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3RP (“the Promoter”).

3. Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and any other requirements set out in the material relating to this promotion.

4. The prize is £1,000 (“the Prize”), and there are no runner up prizes. The Prize will be paid into the winners Santander International Gold Account within 10 working days of being notified that they have won.  All official announcements and communications related to the competition will come from verified accounts or official channels. We will not notify anyone publicly on social media that they have won.

5. No other alternatives to the Prize will be offered and the Prize is not transferable.

6. To participate in the competition entrants will need to use any one of their Santander International Charge Cards to pay for goods or services between 01 September 2025 and 31 October 2025. They will then be entered into a prize draw and the winner be drawn at random on 01 November 2025. New customers will need to open an account with Santander International and successfully apply for a Charge Card in order to enter the competition.

7. The prize draw period closing date is 31 October 2025, any purchases made after this date on the Charge Card will not be eligible to be entered into this prize draw.

8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any card declines which may result in not being eligible to be entered into the prize draw. 

9. Only one transaction on the Charge Card during the promotional period is required to be automatically entered into the prize draw. Multiple purchases on the Charge Card will not equal multiple entries in the competition.

10. The winner’s name and island of residency will be available on request after 01 November 2025 for 30 days, subject to the winners’ consent. 

11. The winner consents to the Promoter publishing their name and photograph on social media for the purpose of publicity. The photo will be taken in either the Jersey or the Isle of Man Work Café at a convenient day and time to the winner.

12. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or close the prize draw without prior notice, in extreme circumstances, and the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw.

15. To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or permanent injury caused as a result of the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter accepts no liability for loss or injury as a result of the prize draw or receipt or misuse of any prize.

16. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the terms and conditions will be based on the laws of Jersey and the Isle of Man.
