What you will be doing

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Senior On-Boarding Team Member within our Isle of Man Operations team, you will support the accurate and controlled on- boarding of new customers, with a particular focus on non-personal and corporate entities as this area expands.

You will apply your on-boarding, account opening and due diligence knowledge to deliver a smooth customer experience, ensure work is completed right first time and provide day-to-day guidance, quality support and process expertise to colleagues.

The difference you will make

  • Process and review onboarding requests accurately, diligently and within agreed timeframes.
  • Support the onboarding of non-personal and corporate entities, including ownership/control structures, authorised signatories, beneficial ownership and supporting documentation.

  • Explain KYC, CDD/EDD and documentation requirements for colleagues and customers, liaising with relationship teams, Compliance and Financial Crime where needed.

  • Own complex queries and onboarding blockers through to resolution, escalating risks or concerns in line with procedures.

  • Support peer review, coaching, training and continuous improvement to strengthen controls and improve the customer and colleague experience.

What you will bring

  • Experience in banking or financial services operations, ideally within onboarding, account opening, client review or KYC/CDD.
  • A strong understanding of AML, KYC and operational risk controls, with the judgement to identify and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • High attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset, working accurately to deadlines and agreed service standards.

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

  • A positive, flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and support others.

It would also be nice for you to have:

Experience with non-personal or corporate customers would be particularly valuable, including exposure to:

  • Companies, partnerships, trusts, funds, captives, Trust and Corporate Service Providers or other complex entity structures.

  • Beneficial ownership, controllers, authorised signatories, source of funds/source of wealth and tax classification requirements.

  • Enhanced due diligence, PEPs, sanctions/adverse media screening and customer risk assessment.

  • Offshore or international banking, quality checking, coaching or acting as a subject matter expert in an operations team.

What else you need to know

This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits package. You will be based at our office on Prospect Hill, in Douglas.
