What you’ll be doing
As a Salesforce Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting Santander International’s transformation programme. Working within the Technology & Change function, you’ll design, build and enhance Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, nCino and connected banking platforms.
You’ll collaborate with business, change and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure and well-governed solutions, while also contributing to the development of AI-enabled agent capabilities to improve both colleague and customer experiences.
From platform engineering and integrations to operational support and automation, you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality technical solutions that support customer servicing journeys and business outcomes.
The difference you’ll make
- Designing, building and supporting Salesforce solutions aligned to business needs.
- Delivering enhancements across Financial Services Cloud and customer servicing workflows.
- Supporting integrations and data flows between Salesforce, AWS and core banking systems.
- Developing AI-enabled agent capabilities to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Providing operational support, troubleshooting issues and maintaining service quality.
- Building reports and dashboards to support management information and continuous improvement.
- Identifying and managing risks to ensure compliance with governance and control frameworks.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in a Salesforce Engineering, Development or Platform role.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, automation and data models.
- Experience supporting and enhancing production systems in a cloud-based environment.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs and data synchronisation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
It would also be nice for you to have
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud or customer servicing platforms.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and customer data use cases.
- Experience with nCino or banking workflows built on Salesforce.
- Exposure to Apex or other Salesforce development tools.
- Familiarity with AWS integrations or core banking systems.
- Experience within financial services, banking or wealth management.
- Experience developing AI-enabled solutions (e.g. Agentforce, Maisa or similar).
- Salesforce certifications.

This role sits within the Technology & Change / Salesforce & nCino team and reports to the Chief Technology and Transformation Officer. You’ll be working in a collaborative, Agile environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement and delivering value through modern platform capabilities.
