Lost or stolen Visa card?

If you have lost or had your card stolen, or you believe it may have been subject to fraud, it is important that you contact us as soon as you can.

We have provided alternative contact details for different teams who can help you, depending on what time of day you are calling.

To protect your lost or stolen cards we will cancel your card immediately, and issue a replacement. Depending on your location your new card will be received in 7 -10 working days.

If your card is stolen, you should also immediately report the theft to the police.

Santander International Customer Service team

Lines are open Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm UK time (except Wednesday when we open at 9.30am).

Santander International Visa card team

Monday to Friday – 8am to 9pm (UK time)

Visa Global Card Assistance Service

You can call the Visa Global Card Assistance Service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Call them on 0800 891 725 or +1 303 967 1096.

The Visa Global Card Assistance Service customer service team will need the following information:

  • The name of the bank that issued your card - Santander International
  • The country where it was issued to you - UK
  • The type of Visa card - Debit
  • The 16-digit number on the card - it is vital that you have a record of this number, kept separate from your card
  • Your name as it is printed on the card - it is important that you have kept a note of this, separate from your card

They will also ask you a number of other personal details to confirm your identity.

If your card is stolen, you should immediately report it to the Police.
